Four stages in the life of a butterfly

It’s amazing and wonderful, my oh my!

 

A female butterfly lays some eggs.

Then out comes a larva stretching its legs.

That caterpillar eats and eats and eats.

Sheds its skin and eats and eats

Becomes a pupa then imagine this,

It turns into a chrysalis!

 

Inside the shell, I bet you know

A brand new butterfly is starting to grown.

And someday soon there will come a day

When the butterfly flies away!
