I learned this from another teacher friend and it works like a charm. In Kindergarten getting kids to learn to add endings can be tricky, so I teach them this little jingle: "i" "n" "g" makes my mouth say "ing!" They love to emphasize the "ing" sound and they seem to remember it easily when writing!

Here is a great way to teach kids how to spell the word BECAUSE.
Spell the first three letters: B-E-C (yell out "AU") (spell) S-E
